Societies at NUST

NUST AND SOCITIES :

Talking about the societies at NUST, besides academic excellence, NUST provides a platform for every individual to display their dynamic literary, creative and artistic abilities and aptitude for co-curricular activities. In order to provide them with opportunities to pursue their passion, NUST has a variety of different societies and clubs. Let’s have a look at each one of them little by little:

NDS And NMC

Nust Dramatics And Debating Society NDC and NUST Media Club NMC are the two main societies of NBS and S3H. Students from all schools of NUST with acting, film/documentary making, photography and performing arts skills join this society to learn and excel in their art. Each year, this society puts together some amazing events that exhibit teamwork, resource management, esthetics and artistic sense of our students.

NSS

For the science geeks we have a society named NUST Science Society NSS. This society is the brainchild of innovative individuals who felt the need to create a platform to indulge the interests of scientifically talented students.

NAC

For the adventure loving people we present a society full of energetic activities and loads of fun NUST Adventure Club and NUST Sports and hiking society. Sports Gala every year, quite a number of hiking trips and a lot of other healthy activities are all arranged by this society.

NFAC

For our future artists with amazingly creative minds, NUST Fine Arts Club provides a platform to experience and learn  new things. NFAC is managed by the students of SADA. They work in their studios and create master pieces. A variety of contests and competitions are held each year by this club.

NLC

NUST Literary Society and NUST Book Club are the perfect place for the ones who have a taste for literature. Year book is an integral part of university life and so is a monthly magazine on all campus happenings. Literary and Magazine Society makes sure that our student body does not miss on this vital component.

NSCS

Last but not the least NUST Community Services Club is yet another example that shows a positive image of NUST around the world. Community services society works on instilling in our students a sense of communal responsibility especially towards those who are less privileged in our society. The group works on organizing awareness campaigns about social issues and actively participating in social development of our community.

Quite a number of events are arranged by these societies every year bringing in opportunities for the talented students of this institution to participate, share and learn. NUST believes in inspiration, creativity and innovation and this is exactly what it builts in its students which is one of the exceptional features of NUST that makes it to stand in the row of one of the best institutions of the country.
