Date: 8th
September 2016
I wasn’t a bright student from the start but I tried again
and again and the time came when my efforts finally paid off. I stood first in
my class. I was happy but my parents were more excited than me. From that day
onwards, I started working hard in my studies to see that happiness on my
parents face.
In 8th Class, I changed my school and got
admitted in Hamza Army Public School. It was a good school and helped me learn
a lot. In school, teachers do ask about our future plans. In my whole class, I
was the one who used to say that I will go for pre-engineering while other
mates vote for pre-medical. It’s quite difficult to stand alone with opposite
direction than the crowd. But one needs to be confident in their decision.
I scored good marks in matriculation exams and continued my
studies in pre-engineering. I worked hard through my FSC-1. I was able to
secure 89% marks in HSSC-I. As a consequence, I was made class representative
based on my marks. After this, my focus shifted to get myself ready for the
NUST entry test. But in second year, I was mostly thinking about universities.
I always dreamt of getting into NUST.
It was my dream to get into NUST. In order to know the
pattern of the test and to get the answers of my questions regarding NUST, I
gave NET-1. My purpose was achieved. If
in my time, FUNG would have been there then I doubt that I had given NET-1. I
could have saved 1500/- rupees and bought good sandals. :P
After giving final board
exams, I didn’t turn toward academies like my other mates rather I studied at
home. I worked hard to get through NET-3 because it is tougher than NET-1 and
NET-2, in my opinion. I secured a good merit number but my dream was to get
into chemical engineering batch and I succeeded.
NUST is a place where you can learn a lot apart from
studies. It provides you with environment to make you familiar practical life
while other universities don’t. I went for different societies to explore
myself. There are societies regarding different activities. They help you learn
how things work in practical life. I will be starting my fifth semester from 19th
September.
Please let us know how much marks you got in NET-1,2 and 3 ?
